Live broadcast, June 18 today, Pelican team wrote Rod Walker about the possible operation of the team during the offseason.
He said: “If Pelicans want to take the fastest road to success, it is to let Zion and Ingram play together for another year. I understand the frustration that the two best players of the team have only played 12 games together in the past two seasons, but don’t be impulsive. The Pelican team used to look like a strong competitor.”
According to previous reports, Pelican intends to pursue this year’s rookie Scott Henderson, and is expected to pursue the ranking or flower search sign of this year’s draft conference. If Henderson can be obtained, Pelican will indeed consider trading Zion.
Pelicans added: “No matter how much you want Henderson, you should not give up such cornerstones as Zion and Ingram. In any case, the pelicans of Zion + Ingram are better than those of Zion + Henderson or Yingge + Henderson. More importantly, if the Pelicans remain healthy, they are closer to the top of the Western League rather than the bottom.”
According to the famous Stein report, sources revealed that Pelican held exploratory trade negotiations on Zion during the offseason last year, however, he finally signed a top salary contract worth 0.195 billion dollars for 5 years.
