The content is as follows:
Hello everyone, long time no see! Let me report the recent situation to you ~
It has been a week since I reported to the Chicago Sky team, and the WNBA new season training camp has already started, but unfortunately, due to injuries, I can’t participate in the Sky team training camp for the time being. Seeing that all the teammates were devoted to the preparation for the new season with full enthusiasm, I saw it in my eyes and felt anxious in my heart.
On the night of the end of the WCBA final, I had an examination in the hospital. At that time, I was somewhat optimistic about the diagnosis and estimation of the injury, thinking that I could recover completely after 2-3 weeks of rest. However, after going to Australia for further examination, the diagnosis they gave was a three-degree tear of the posterior cross ligament, which was basically the same as that of the broken one. The local doctor advised me to rest for at least ten weeks, then run and jump training can be performed. I was dark at once, which was the result I didn’t expect. My original plan was to almost recover in Australia, then have special training in Australia for a period of time, and then go to Chicago to participate in the team’s training camp. But a 3-degree torn diagnosis report really broke my plan and my life……
After meeting with the Sky team, the club gave me a comprehensive inspection in Chicago as soon as possible, and the results were no different from those in Australia. They gave me a bracket for at least 6 weeks, after 8 weeks of rest, it is suggested that running and jumping training should be carried out after 8 weeks of visual recovery. As for when the physical condition can be restored to the state of high-intensity competition, there is no clear timetable yet, and they said they could not guarantee it. I expressed my heart to the doctor that I was eager to return to the stadium. The doctor also advised me again that the second injury and fracture were far more terrible than the first tear, let me make a longer-term plan for my career.
As a professional basketball player, there is nothing more frustrating and anxious than not being able to take part in the competition, especially when the new season is about to begin, now, on the one hand, I have to endure the physical pain caused by injuries, on the other hand, I have to suffer a lot in my heart. I feel anxious about every game that I can’t participate in next……
However, it is gratifying that I can receive meticulous treatment from authoritative experts and team doctors every day here, and the trainers are also guiding me to do some upper limb training for recovering every day, the team also gave me meticulous care in my life, which made me feel a little warm when I was in a foreign country.
During this period, I will try my best to calm down, follow the doctor’s advice, actively carry out rehabilitation treatment, and return to the stadium after the injury is completely recovered.
The road to dream has never been smooth. Only by overcoming the pain and the Demons can we return stronger!
Although I may miss some of the WNBA games, I will not miss every opportunity to improve myself, because the sense of mission and responsibility on my shoulders have always urged me to keep moving forward, and I will strive for better, stand on the court in a healthier state and win more honors for the motherland!
