Today, FIBA officially posted a photo of Yao Ming and Nowitzki (who served as the chairman of FIBA players Committee and the third global ambassador in the World Cup), in which they talked and laughed. The accompanying article wrote: “Give this photo a title!✍⊙”
Yao Ming logged into the NBA as the top star in 2002 and retired in 2011. Nowitzki logged into NBA in 1998 and retired in 2019. Both played for only one team (Rockets and Lone Ranger) in NBA career, and they had played against each other many times.
Germany was divided into Group E with Japan, Finland and Australia in this World Cup.
