Live Bar, June 20th news recently, Knicks player Landel talked about Wikins in the Podcast P with Paul George podcasting program.
When asked who was his strongest opponent in high school, Randle said: “I was the strongest player in my session, but Wikins suddenly appeared, this 6-foot-8 Canadian dunk and 360-degree dunk in the stadium. We fought once, and he inspired the best of me.
“If high school students could still take part in the draft, he would be the first in that year, and Anthony Bennet was the first in that year.”
In the 2004 NBA draft, Wikins was selected by the Cavaliers in the first round and Randle was selected by the Lakers in the seventh round.
