Randy Whiteman said: “They can break up and start again. I don’t think they will continue to cooperate with 38-year-old Paul. He hasn’t finished the whole season in the past 4 or 5 years. Wizards may have some operations against Kuzma or Porzingis. Bill’s transaction came too fast. I don’t know what Wizards were thinking when trading veto power for Bill, in particular, they gave him a five-year top salary. Bill may be the only player in the league who has a trading veto.
“By trading bill, I think Wizards plan to start over. They can trade Paul for some picks.”
