In 2010, Zhao Shuang helped the team win the WCBA championship. In April, 2011, Zhao Shuang was selected into the national training team for the first time. In August 2011, Zhao Shuang helped China win the championship women’s basketball in the 24th Asian Championships.
On January 4, 2022, Zhao Shuang announced his retirement on Weibo. In August of the same year, Zhao Shuang announced his marriage news on Weibo.
