Live Bar, June 13th recently, Wade talked about the 2006 finals in Club Shay Shay.
Wade said: “I got sick in the first round of the finals, so when we faced the first two games in Dallas, I was still sick. We were beaten up in the first two matches, but my score was between 25 and 29. My hit rate was not high, but I was trying to figure out the match.
“When the third session, our confidence came back and my body became better. I already know how the opponent defends me in the last quarter. My mentality is that I can’t do the same thing again. When we get some penalty and throw some goals, it changes the series.”
In the 2006 finals, the 23-year-old Wade scored 34.7 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 2.7 steals, and Wade scored 75 out of 97 free throws in 6 games.
