In an interview with the media, Scott Henderson talked about his experience in developing the league. He said: “The experience of developing the league makes me have more advantages than other players of the same age.”
“I am the most well-prepared players in this draft, I have learned a lot after two years there. This is the case on the court and outside the court. I learned how to become a professional player both inside and outside the court. I found what I like to do, and the experience there made me see a lot of things that I could not get in other places. I was very lucky, and I grew a lot from it.”
In the 2021-22 season, Henderson played 21 games (4 first starts) for the ignition team. He averaged 14.3 points and 4.8 rebounds in 27.9 minutes. 4.2 assists 1.6 steals 2.1 mistakes, field goal percentage is 44.9%, the three-point hit rate is 21.6%, and the free throw hit rate is 77.8%;
In the 2022-23 season, Henderson played 25 games (24 first starts) for the ignition team. He could score 17.6 points in 30.2 minutes on average, 5.1 rebounds 6.4 assists 1.2 steals 3.3 mistakes, field goal percentage is 44.3%, the three-point hit rate is 32.4%, and the free throw hit rate is 75.0%.
