Live Bar, June 23 -at the NBA draft conference in 2023, the Rockets used the 20th signature to select Whitmore, which was originally expected to be the top five shunts.
After that, Whitmore talked about ranking in an interview. He first expressed satisfaction with being selected by the Rockets with 20 ranking. He said, “To be honest, before the start of draft night, I didn’t expect who would choose me in any order. In my life, I have been neglected many times, so it doesn’t really scare me.”
