When asked if he was interested in being the head coach after retirement, Paul said, “No, to be honest, I tell you, I don’t want to experience this kind of thing, coaching an NBA team is much more difficult than coaching those young players, which is why I like AAU, because you have the opportunity to really shape them when your children are very young.”
“Because when we enter NBA, we don’t want to listen to those bullshit. I mean, I can’t imagine coaching players like ‘we’ because we think we know everything.” Paul said.
