This means that Tyron Lu will complete his remaining contract and may enter the free market as early as the summer of 2024. Previously, it was reported that the Suns were interested in Lu before confirming Vogel’s as the head coach, but the source said that the Clippers would demand high-quality draft funds.
The source also said that there was no formal contact between the Clippers and the Suns on Lu’s issue.
The current contract of Lu instructor is $35 million in five years, and this contract will expire in two years.
