Live Bar, June 17th according to the TA Lakers Jovan Buha report, multiple sources revealed that if veteran Chris Paul was cut by the sun (or delayed payment), the Lakers will be very interested in signing him.
Buha said that after the Lakers signed a basic salary contract with Paul, they could use the middle class special case to sign another player to increase the depth of the team.
According to sources, one option discussed by the Lakers was to sign Paul and then leave Russell to truly consolidate the position of point guard.
