The scout said: “Henderson undoubtedly has a chance to become a star, but I am worried about his mentality, as far as he has to work hard. I don’t want to say that the team will give everything to him. In the past, most of the Development League did focus on him. But I think when he enters NBA, he will be awakened in some way.”
“He is really good, but there are some loopholes in his game. Obviously, that is his outside shooting. The biggest problem is that he hasn’t played many games in the past few years. Whether he will stick to it, especially when things become difficult, both mentally and physically.”
In the 2021-22 season, Henderson played 21 games (4 first starts) for the ignition team. He averaged 14.3 points and 4.8 rebounds in 27.9 minutes. 4.2 assists 1.6 steals 2.1 mistakes, field goal percentage is 44.9%, the three-point hit rate is 21.6%, and the free throw hit rate is 77.8%;
In the 2022-23 season, Henderson played 25 games (24 first starts) for the ignition team. He could score 17.6 points in 30.2 minutes on average, 5.1 rebounds 6.4 assists 1.2 steals 3.3 mistakes, field goal percentage is 44.3%, the three-point hit rate is 32.4%, and the free throw hit rate is 75.0%.
