Zou Yang was born in Chongqing on May 7, 2000. On August 1, 2022, the 24th CUBA College Basketball League final, Tsinghua University won Guangdong University of Technology 89-86, winning three successive championships. Tsinghua University player zouyang scored 25 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals, and won the MVP of the finals. On May 4, 2023, the men’s team final in the Northeast Division of CUBAL, Tsinghua 81-64 defeated Peking University to win the championship. Zouyang got 20 points, 6 rebounds and 1 assist, and was elected as the MVP of the Northeast Division.
In terms of the national team, Zou Yang entered the training list of the three-person basketball national team officially announced by the Chinese Basketball Association in April 2022.
