When talking about the affair of chasing dreams before stepping on little Sabonis, smaradzic said: “Everyone is talking about something, but for me, chasing dreams is like my eldest brother. I really love him. No matter what he said or did on the court, he was not like this on the court because he was really a good man. He is enthusiastic and helpful. He likes to communicate with young players and help them make progress.”
In the 2019 NBA draft, smaradzic was selected by pelicans in the 39th round and later traded to Warriors. He was laid off by warriors in 2021 and then returned to Europe to play.
